h2. The days of Mitiki
First generation MojoMojo was called Mitiki. It was a Maypole and Class::DBI project inspired by the Rails application "Instiki":http://www.instiki.org.
h2. Name Change to MojoMojo
Mitiki was retooled[date needed] using Catalyst and DBIx::Class. It was at this time that the project was bestowed with the name MojoMojo.
h2. MiniMojo Inspiration
In June of 2005, MojoMojo inspired portions of the "Catalyst article":http://www.perl.com/pub/a/2005/06/02/catalyst.html?page=2 by Jesse Sheidlower which showed an example wiki application called MiniMojo.
h2. MojoMojo makes it to CPAN
The initial CPAN release occurred in August 2007[1].
h2. Continued Development
MojoMojo is an example of a community project. It has had several contributors[3] and continues being "actively developed":http://github.com/marcusramberg/mojomojo/tree/master. Its final goal is much like Linux, world domination ;-]
