h1. Some MojoMojo History
h2. The days of Mitiki
First generation MojoMojo was called Mitiki. It was a Maypole and Class::DBI project inspired by the Rails application "Instiki":http://www.instiki.org.
h2. MiniMojo Inspiration
In June of 2005, another inspiration hit with the "Catalyst article":http://www.perl.com/pub/a/2005/06/02/catalyst.html?page=2 by Jesse Sheidlower which showed an example wiki application called MiniMojo. As a result of the article, Mitiki was retooled using Catalyst and DBIx::Class. The result was called MojoMojo and the initial CPAN release occurred in August 2007.
h2. Continued Development
MojoMojo is an example of a community project. It has had several contributors and continues being "actively developed":http://github.com/marcusramberg/mojomojo/tree/master. Its final goal is much like Linux, world domination ;-]
fn1. According to MojoMojo Changes file on "CPAN":http://search.cpan.org/perldoc?MojoMojo, MojoMojo was initially released August 29, 2007
